A WHISPER OF LOVE

by

“I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.”

Psalm 6: 6
King James Version

There are people who smile and laugh with their family and friends, but in the stillness of the midnight the tears of heartache flow. It is then that Jesus whispers in our ear very softly with a whisper of Love. There are some things that we are unable to share with family and friends due to fear of ridicule and judgment. Jesus knows our hearts and He Loves us.

Jesus knows what it is like to be criticized and judged. He has felt the pain that we feel when our hearts are breaking. He says to us, “I Love you and I will never leave you. You are precious to Me. There is nothing that you can do to take My Love from you. You may hurt Me at times, but I will always forgive you”.

I was raised in a family where love and encouragement were never expressed. I don’t ever remember anybody saying to one another, “I love you”. When you don’t get that loving feeling from your parents, it is extremely difficult to believe that anybody could possibly love you.

Is your heart hurting today? Allow Jesus to whisper in your ear His Tender Words of Comfort and Compassion. He Loves you. You are precious to Him and He longs to see you happy. He will never leave you.

After Jesus fills us with His Comfort and Love, then we need to spread His Comfort and Love to each other. Remember one day you may be the one who needs a hug. Reach out and hug for Jesus.
