“For this thing I besought the
Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace
is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12: 8, 9a
King James Version
There is a song with the words “He’s all I need”. I have been singing
that song to Him for the last hour. I started singing softly and I began
to sing it loudly to Him. The more I sang, the more my heart swelled
with love for Him. Until we can come to the place where we can sing to
Jesus “You’re all I need” and really mean it in our hearts we will never
have peace.
The world tries to tell us that there is fulfillment in alcohol, drugs,
sex, adultery, and all other things that break the Heart of Jesus. That
is a lie straight from the pits of hell. The only real and lasting
happiness, joy and peace is to be found in Jesus. He is our joy, peace
and happiness. It is Jesus who gives us peace in the middle of a crisis. |

If we will keep our hearts focused on Him, no matter what trials and
heartaches we have in our lives, He will give us His peace, the peace
that passes all understanding. The world didn’t give us His peace and
the world can’t take it away. I have the Love of Jesus planted deeply
and firmly in my heart and all hell can’t take it from me.
Sometimes, He has to wait to answer our prayers so that we will depend
on Him and not ourselves. He Loves us dearly and wants to give us things
to make us happy, but He is also wise and only gives us what is good for
us. Indeed, Jesus is all that we need for any situation. Run into the
waiting arms of Jesus. He died a horrible death so that we may have His
peace, joy and love in our hearts. Keep your eyes on Jesus and not on
man.
