“But thou, when thou prayest,
enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy
Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall
reward thee openly.”
Matthew 6:6
King James Version
I dearly love my family and friends but when I am alone with Jesus there
is a peace and joy in my heart that I can’t put into words. There is a
longing in my heart to know my Saviour better each day. I want to always
say and do things that I know will make Him happy. However, being human
I fail Him but He knows my heart and He knows how much I love Him.
It is a privilege to be able to fellowship with Jesus. This is something
that we should not take lightly. We also should not put Him on the shelf
and just take Him down when we need something. If we don’t talk to Him
on a daily basis, then we don’t have the right to ask Him for anything.
Many times we get so involved in our daily schedules that we don’t have
time for Jesus. If we don’t have time for Jesus, then we should search
our hearts and be sure that we love Him and that He is the first
priority in our lives. |

There is a feeling of warmth and comfort that comes over me because of
being loved by our dear Saviour. He is the King of Kings and Lord of
Lords. He is the beautiful Rose of Sharon. He suffered, bled, and died
for us. What amazing, unconditional Love He extends to us! There is no
one like Jesus. Nobody else will ever love us like He Loves us.
Are you spending time alone with Jesus? Is He the first priority in your
life? Have you given your heart and life to the Saviour of the world?
Jesus Loves you very much and proved His Love by dying for you. Do you
know Him? Do you love Him?
