GOD’S SWIMMING POOL

“For thou hast been a strength to
the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the
storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as
a storm against the wall.”
Isaiah 25: 4
King James Version
My electric bill went up last month and I couldn’t understand why it did
since I didn’t use any more electricity than I normally use. Then I
realized that the hot sun was coming in the windows and making the air
conditioner work harder. I was wishing I was in a swimming pool so I
could get cool.
God has a swimming pool where we can get cooled off from the heat of
satan and the world. It is filled with the precious blood of Jesus. He
is also our refuge from the storms of life. We can go to Him for shelter
when we are hurting and our hearts are breaking. He gently and tenderly
picks us up and sets us on His lap of Love and kisses our tears away. He
puts His protective arms around us and shields us from the poisonous
darts of hatred, criticism, sarcasm, and verbal and physical abuse.
Have you allowed Jesus to put you in His swimming pool of Love, mercy,
grace and compassion? Is Jesus your personal Saviour? Has there ever
been a time in your life when you realized that you needed a Saviour? If
not, please do it now. Your family loves you and wants to meet you in
Heaven.
There are mothers who have been praying for their children for years to
accept Jesus into their hearts. Say yes to the Christ of Calvary and you
will have a peace and joy that you have never known.
