GOD’S TIMING

“And seeing a fig tree afar off
having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and
when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs
was not yet.”
Mark 11: 13
King James Version
I am a very impatient person. God has been working on me for years in
this area. I’m a lot better than I used to be last year. When I decide
to do something, I want to do it right that minute. God has had to
remind me many times that His timing is not my timing. I think a lot of
us are like this especially when it comes to prayers. We want God to
answer our prayers now. Sometimes, He has to tell us to wait because it
is not in His timing for us.
We should pray before we make any big decisions like moving or changing
jobs. It may not be His will for us or the right time for us to do it.
Often, we get ahead of God’s will and timing for our lives and end up in
confusion and stress. God knows what is best for us and He wants the
best for us. He Loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die for
us.
He doesn’t want any of us to be unhappy, but sometimes He allows us to
come to the point where we can’t fix the situation so that we will go to
Him for help. He wants to help us and solve our problems. He wants to
fight our battles for us, but we have to go to Him like a child would go
to a parent. He has given us a free will and will not force Himself on
us. He wants us to love Him because we want to love Him, not because He
makes us.
If you are feeling frustrated and confused about a situation, go to Him
and see if it is the right time and in His will for you. Remember always
that He is a Loving Father and only wants the best for you.
