NO FAVORITES

When we stand before God, there will be no favorites. It will not matter
if we had a lot of money or a little money. It won’t matter if we had a
large home with a swimming pool and two cars, or if we had a small home
with one car. What will matter to Him is how we lived our lives and how
many people we loved to Jesus.
We can talk all day long about the Love of Jesus, but if we never put
actions to our words, they are meaningless. Joyce Landorf, a well known
speaker and author said on one of her teaching tapes “Someone came up to
me and said “Hi, how are you, I love you, got to go, bye” Joyce said
that she told her “Well, that’s not enough”! Joyce said that she needed
people to put their arms around her and prove that God was working all
things out for her good.
O dear friends, there is nothing as important as spreading the Love of
Jesus. This should be our first priority in our lives, to serve Him and
spread His Love. Everything else should take second place to Him. If our
jobs, our activities, and our loved ones come before Him, then we have
left our first love.
A couple of months ago, I read where this person is listed in a well
known national directory. This is wonderful, but if our names are not
written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, we are lost and on our way to an
Eternity without Jesus. Have you said yes to the Christ of Calvary? Do
you have a personal relationship with Him? If not, I urge you to invite
Him into your heart now!
