THE GREATEST AWARD

talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents:
behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto
him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over
a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into
the joy of thy lord.”

I have received some very beautiful awards for my website. I am deeply
honored and appreciative because like everyone else, I also need
encouragement. However, the greatest award for me and the award that I
am striving for every day of my life is to make Jesus happy and to see
Him smile at me when I see Him face to face on that glorious day when I
go home to be with Him for all eternity.
I get so excited thinking about seeing Him that sometimes I literally
have to make myself stop dwelling on it because my heart starts racing.
What an awesome privilege and honor to be loved by the Saviour of the
world! Jesus, the one who allowed Himself to be tortured and beaten
beyond recognition so that we may have our sins forgiven and assured of
a home in Heaven, will give me the greatest award, a smile.
O dear friends, if you aren’t in love with Jesus who is worthy above
everyone and everything, then you have not experienced the greatest
friendship that you will ever know. He is a friend who will never leave
you, not even for a second.
What kind of award will you get when you see Jesus? Will He say to you
“Well done, good and faithful servant”? Are you making Him happy by the
way you live your life, or are you breaking His heart? Will He be
smiling when He sees you?
