THE GREATEST MIRACLE
by Joanne Lowe
June 14, 2006
“The people therefore that was with him when he
called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him for the dead, bare
record. For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that
he had done this miracle.”
John 12: 17, 18
King James Version
The greatest miracle ever performed was Jesus Loving us so much that He
died for us. He not only raised Lazarus from the dead, He raises us out
of our sins to a Home in Heaven with Him through His shed blood on
Calvary. When a person who has been wandering in the darkness of sin and
shame asks Jesus into his or her heart, that is a miracle of love from
the Heart of Jesus.
For over forty years, I hated everyone. I didn’t trust anybody and never
said or did anything kind. It took a special kind of love, the kind of
Love that only Jesus can give, to take me from the garbage heap of my
past and set me on His lap of Love. There is a song “He looked beyond my
fault and saw my need”. Praise God, one day Jesus looked beyond my fault
and saw my need.
It doesn’t matter what you have done in your past. Jesus Loves you and
wants to have a place in your heart so that He can fellowship with you
and protect you. He is not interested in what we have done; He is
concerned with what we are doing right now. He is longing to plant His
miracle of Love in your heart.
We have a Loving Saviour, one who cares about us and desires to talk
with us. Have you invited the Christ of Calvary into your heart? If not,
there is no better time than right this minute. Open the door to your
heart and let Jesus give you Love, peace, joy and happiness today.
